Capabilities

Six disciplines, one chain of custody

Every mode is operated in-house or through partners we have worked with for a decade or more, so responsibility never changes hands mid-route.

01

Ocean freight

FCL and LCL on scheduled and cross-trade services, with consolidation, port handling and demurrage management.

02

Air freight

Time-critical and charter uplift from Heathrow, Manchester and East Midlands, including AOG and temperature control.

03

Road & final mile

Groupage and dedicated vehicles across the UK and Europe, with tail-lift, two-person and timed-window delivery.

04

Customs & compliance

Import and export entries, transit documents, duty deferment and origin advice filed by our own in-house brokers.

05

Warehousing

Bonded and general storage near Tilbury and Liverpool, with pick and pack, inventory reporting and stock counts.

06

Secure & high-value

Vaulted storage, sealed vehicles and escorted movements for valuables, pharmaceuticals and sensitive equipment.

The company

Family-owned, institutionally run

Blaustein Global began as a single customs desk in Liverpool. Today we operate from London with teams at the ports and airports our customers depend on — still independent, still answerable to the people who ship with us.

We keep the same operator on an account from tender through to steady-state running, so the person quoting your lane is the person who fixes it when a vessel rolls. It is a deliberately unglamorous way to work, and it is why our largest client relationships are measured in decades rather than contract terms.

  • Founded 2001, Liverpool. Head office relocated to London in 2003.
  • Ownership Privately held and family-controlled — no external investors.
  • People 210 staff across four UK sites and three overseas offices.
  • Accreditation AEO-F (HMRC), IATA cargo agent, ISO 9001 and ISO 27001.

Interior of a modern racked logistics warehouse

Bonded facility, Tilbury

  1. Customs brokerage opens in Liverpool

Robert J. Baumann files entries for a handful of Merseyside importers from a single office at the docks.

  2. Head office moves to London

Shifting trade patterns pull volume south. The company takes the Blaustein Global name and adds forwarding to brokerage.

  3. First bonded warehouse

A 90,000 sq ft facility near Tilbury brings storage, consolidation and clearance under one roof.

  4. AEO-F accreditation

Full Authorised Economic Operator status confirms both customs simplification and supply-chain security controls.

  5. Secure logistics division

Vaulted storage and escorted movement services launch for high-value and regulated cargo.

  6. Three overseas offices

Own-staff operations in Rotterdam, Dubai and Singapore replace agent-only coverage on our core corridors.

"They took over three lanes that had been failing for a year. Six weeks later the escalation calls stopped, and they have not started again."
